Academically Unacceptable Schools (AUS) are a facet of the accountability system intended to help low performing and stagnant schools improve. Schools that enter AUS and/or SCF will receive additional support and assistance, with the expectation that extensive efforts shall be made by students, parents, teachers, principals, administrators, and the school board to improve student achievement at the school.
