Achievement Level data from iLEAP and LEAP for grades 3 through 8 and GEE Achievement Level data are provided. The LEAP tests administered to students in grades 4 and 8, as well as the Graduation Exit Examination (GEE), administered to students in grades 10 and 11, are directly aligned with the state’s content standards. These tests measure how well students have mastered the state’s content standards in English Language Arts (ELA), Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies.
Important Notes
- The statewide iLEAP assessments were first administered in spring 2006 with iLEAP grade 9 discontinued beginning in 2010-11.
- Freshmen entering high school in the 2010-11 school year and thereafter, will not take the GEE. These students must pass three End-of-Course (EOC) tests in the following categories: English II or English III, Algebra I or Geometry, and Biology or United States History. Thus, the EOC tests will replace the GEE for graduation purposes.
